Paul Hoenecke, a National Letter of Intent signee of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team who will be a freshman this fall, was selected in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft last week by the Detroit Tigers in the 42nd round. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team opened play at the Horizon League Tournament in Ohio in late May as the No. 5 seed in the event.
